The safety of our patients and staff is a top priority. In accordance with the College of Optometrists of Ontario, we are implementing protocols to keep everyone safe and continue to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.
The following are requirements when visiting our clinic:
Masks will be mandatory for patients: Please wear a mask/face covering that covers your mouth and nose at all times while in the clinic.
Arrive alone: To encourage physical distancing, please arrive alone to your appointment unless an accompaniment is required for assistance. There will be a maximum of three people per household allowed at a time (each with an appointment).
Hand Sanitization is a must upon entering. We will have hand sanitizer available at the front desk.
In order to control patient flow and to ensure physical distancing, please enter the front door on Marine Drive. If the door is locked, we have reached capacity. Please wait outside until we let you in.
Please DO NOT ENTER the clinic for any reason if you have any symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills, sore throat, runny nose/congestion not allergy related, loss of taste or smell, pink eye, headache, digestive issues, muscle aches, extreme fatigue).
We recommend scheduling an appointment to pick up your glasses or if you are considering purchasing new eyewear.
In addition to the above we have implemented the following procedures:
Staff and doctors wearing PPE
Magazines/toys removed from waiting room
Frequent sanitization of high touch areas
Reducing frequency of appointments scheduled
Eyewear sanitized after each patient

CLOSED Jan 10 - Jan 12 for training
We will be closed January 10th - 12th 2019 for training on our new computer system. The new system will help improve our patient flow and will allow us to better communicate with our patients via online bookings, emails and text messages. We are so excited!
